I stared at Richard as he
entered. He was obviously
very angry but I didn't give
a d--n.

He did not notice

My
tummy was screaming for
food but my mouth was

ready to accept anything.

This is a thing that occurs whenever I am angry.
I entered the room and
started changing my
clothes. Richard was in the
shower and I did not care
because I was in no mood to have any bath at all,
besides, I took my bath
before the party began
and
I did not dance or do
anything that would warrant another bath. The
anniversary was just a
total
disaster.

I wore a nightie and got
into my side of the big bed.
I pulled the blanket up to
my chin and switched off
the bedside lamp. I closed
my eyes as tears flowed
down my cheeks. I pinged Prisca, telling her not to
worry that Richard was
already back, switched off
my phone and placed it
beside the lamp.

I heard the shower go off and Richard step out. I
pretended to be asleep but
I knew that Richard was
not easily fooled. The light
came and I felt him seat in
front of me.

called but I did not
respond.

He gently kissed my checks
and went to the other side
of the bed to sleep. More tears slipped out of my
closed eyes unhindered as
I
remembered all the events
of the day.

Obasanjo Goes Back To School: See Him Telling Stories To School Pupils

As part of activities to mark his 80th birthday
celebrations, former President, Chief Olusegun
Obasanjo was seen in a reading sessions with
some public-school students at his Ibogun

According to reports, Obasanjo who was
accompanied by his wife, Bola and some of his
close allies, was received by the school children
drawn from Berly Chrysolite school (Primary

97 Nigerians Deported From South Africa For Committing Various Offences

The South African Government has deported 97
Nigerians for committing various offences in the
country.The deportees landed at the Murtala
Muhammed International Airport, Lagos on
Monday night in a chartered aircraft with the
registration number GBB710 from
Johannesburg.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that
they were made up of 95 males and two
females.

DSP Joseph Alabi, the Spokesman of the Lagos
Airport Police Command, confirmed the
development to NAN.

An immigration source told NAN on condition of
anonymity that six of the deportees were
returned to the country for drug offences while
10 were arrested and deported for other
criminal offences .

The others were said to have committed
immigration offences in the Southern African
country.
All the deportees were profiled by officials of
the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) while
those deported for drug related offences were
handed over to the Police for further
investigation.

NAN reports that the Federal Government had
also on Monday evacuated 41 Nigerian girls
who were trafficked to Mali for sex and labour
exploitation.

Six of the suspected human traffickers were
also apprehended and brought back to the
country for prosecution. (NAN)

Woman Arrested For Aborting Her 6-Month-Old Pregnancy

This 22-year-old Malawian woman from Mbawela
village in Thyolo, has been arrested for aborting
her 6-month-old baby and burying it at her
place of work. The suspect identified as Fyness
Maseya reportedly committed the act on
Sunday, February 12, 2017.

Confirming the horrendous act to Nyasa Time,
Kanengo Police PRO, Salome Chibwana said:
'The suspect Fyness Maseya, a guard at
Mtupanyama Holdings, was six months pregnant
and she decided to have an abortion.

'After successfully committing the act at
her house in Ngomani, she put the baby
in a black plastic bag and buried it at her
workplace in area 28,' she said.
Upon noticing that she was no longer pregnant,
her friends started asking questions and that
was when it was revealed that she aborted and
buried the baby at her workplace.

The matter was reported to her boss who on
Tuesday, February 21, 2017, alerted the police
who went and exhumed the body together with
a medical officer from area 25 health center.

The accused woman who has been charged for
murder and concealing of a baby will soon
appear in court.

gushed over his delight at being a first team

Man Collapses After Being Flogged For Breaking Islamic Law

A 27-year-old Indonesian man collapsed while
being publicly caned for standing with a woman
who is not his wife in contravention of strict
Islamic laws.

Herizal bin Yunus, who was one of
eight people publicly punished on Monday for
breaking the province's Islamic regulations,
fainted after being caned eight times in front of
a crowd in Aceh.

Officials carried him off stage after he
collapsed during the punishment outside a
mosque in the provincial capital Banda Aceh.

But after he was examined by a doctor, the
officials were told he was in good health, and
he was taken back up on stage to be flogged
another 14 times.

Herizal had been sentenced to be caned a total
of 22 times for breaking the Islamic laws that
forbid people in Aceh from spending time with
members of the opposite sex who are not their
husband or wife.

105 Passengers Escape Death As Air Peace Tyre Bursts

105 Passengers who boarded an Air Peace
aircraft, escaped death Monday as the tyre of
the aircraft, a Boeing 737 exploded at the
Murtala Muhammed International Airport,
Lagos.

The tyre incident which occurred around 11 am
On Monday forced the pilot to abort the flight,
as
the passengers who were travelling from Lagos
to Abuja were transferred to another aircraft.

When contacted, the General Manager, Public
Relations, Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority, Mr
Sam Adurogboye, said he was yet to confirm if
the incident had been filed with the regulatory
authority.

However, the spokesman of the airline who
released a press statement to newsmen
disclosed that apart from the tyre burst, no
serious damage was done to the aircraft.
Below is what Mr Christian Iwarah said
concerning the incident;
'The incident happened around 11 am as the
aircraft was about to take off. The pilot
immediately turned around and the passengers
were disembarked.
'Another aircraft was provided for them and I
can confirm to you that they arrived in Abuja
safely'

Elsa Iradukunda,19 on Saturday,25th February 2017,won the Miss Rwanda
2017 in a tight competition from 15 finalists.

Elsa, a senior-six graduate from King
David High School, who represented the
Northern Province in the preliminaries, emerged
the topmost contender for the beauty pageant
which held at the Kigali Conference and
Exhibition Village.

She defeated Guelda Shimwa, who came as the
first runner-up, followed by Linda Umutoniwase
and was crowned by Miss Rwanda 2016, Jolly
Mutesiat.
For the first time in the history of Miss Rwanda
pageant, all the 15 finalists were given full

Richard shook his head in
regret as his annoyance

5-Year-Old Girl Raped By A 35-Year-Old Man In An Uncompleted Building (Photos)

A 35-year-old man has defiled a five-year-old girl at the premises of the Breman Brakwa Presbyterian Junior School in Ghana which is currently under renovation.

The suspect under the pretext of being a stranger, asked the victim to escort him to the school because he did not know there.

Upon reaching the school the suspect forcefully had sex with the victim.
Narrating the incident to Nyankonton Mu Nsem on Rainbow Radio 87.5Fm, it was said that the suspect took to his heels and left the victim at the scene after his shameful act.
The victim later left the scene to the house and narrated her ordeal to the mother who also reported to the police. The victim is currently on admission at the Breman Brakwa Hospital.

Ghanaian Politician's Daughter Commits Suicide After Allegedly Failing A Course in School

Adwoa Agyarkwa, the daughter of Kwame
Anyimadu-Antwi, an NPP Member of
Parliament for Asante Akyem central
constituency, has hanged herself.
The 18 -year-old first-year Chemical
Engineering student, at the Kwame
Nkrumah University of Science and
Technology (KNUST), was found dead on
Friday morning in her hostel room with a
rope hanging around her neck.
Although, it is yet to be confirmed what
must have led to the suicide, sources at
KNUST campus say she failed one of her
courses and couldn’t bear the shame.
Before committing the act, the deceased
was said to have left a suicide note,
saying: ‘am sorry to disappoint you
mummy and daddy’. Her body has been
deposited at a mortuary in Kumasi, Ghana.

A footballer did something wonderful during a match in
Czech Republic league when he saved the life of the
other team's goalkeeper after a terrible collision.

Goalkeeper Martin Berkovec, 28, came out
to collect a ball during the game
between Bohemians 1905 and Slovacko but
smashed into his own defender, Daniel Krch.

Berkovec, who was on loan from Slavia Prague,
collapsed but eagle-eyed Slovacko striker
Francis Koné noticed that he had gone limp.
Without waiting for the team doctor or physio,
Kone put his finger into Berkovec's mouth to
prevent him swallowing his own tongue.
Berkovec was stretchered off and taken to
hospital, where he is expected to make a full
recovery.
Writing on Facebook after regaining
consciousness last night, Berkovec said: 'I
would like to thank Francis Kone for rescue and
emergency at today's game…I'm glad for the
relief and thanks again!!!'
The Daily Mirror reported that Slovacko's head
coach Michal Kordula praised Koné during the
post-match press conference.
But it turns out that it is not the first time
Koné, 26, has been a life-saver.
He says it is the FOURTH time in his short
career he has pulled a tongue from a players'
mouth to save them from suffocating.
Koné is something of a footballing globetrotter,
having played in Thailand, Oman, Portugal,
Hungary, Togo and Ivory Coast.
