Herbalist Arrested In His Shrine After Collecting N4m To Do Charm For A Taxi Driver
The police has arrested one Abiodun David, for allegedly
defrauding a cab driver of about N4m.
The police said the victim, Adebayo Omoniyi, had been introduced to the suspect by a friend, who claimed that he (David) had made charms
for him which were effective.
David was alleged to have promised to make a charm that would boost Omoniyi’s transport
business and make wealthy people in the society to favour him.
However, after paying the money, which was for
concoctions and other ingredients, the 38-year- old reportedly did not notice any improvement in his fortune, and when he challenged the
suspect for a refund, his request was turned down.
He subsequently reported a case of fraud to the police at the zone 2 command, leading to the
arrest of the suspect at his shrine in Atan,
Sango, Ogun State, last week Thursday.
A police source said operatives recovered a tortoise and bottled candles from the shrine.
He said,
“The herbalist said one Kazeem he
worked for introduced Omoniyi to him to
also assist him in preparing a charm that
will boost his transport business and
make him to find favour with wealthy
people in the society so that he can get rich.”
However, the suspect claimed he only collected N380,000 from the victim, adding that he was
surprised the matter was reported to the police.
He said,
“I prepared bars of soap and some other concoctions for him. After a month, he
came back and accused me of
defrauding him and said what I gave him did not work as expected. That was how
I was arrested by the policemen at my shrine in Atan. He was not the first person I would prepare the charm for.
“I learnt the herbalist job from my grandmother, who was an herbalist before she died. Initially, I was a barber
before I started the herbalist job. Since I started the work, I have not prepared
money ritual for people. What I do is to assist those in need of favour and some
other medical-related issues.
“I was surprised when I was told that I collected N4m from the cab driver. The
tortoise and the candle in the bottle that were recovered from my shrine are meant for a client. I don’t do money ritual for people.”
The Zonal Police Public Relation Officer, SP Dolapo Badmos, said the suspect was a
fraudster who always disguised as an old man to deceive his victims.
She said,
“The suspect always put on costumes to
deceive people that he is actually an
herbalist. He collected N4m from the
victim. The Assistant Inspector-General of Police, Adamu Ibrahim, has said that
the suspect should be charged to court after completion of investigation.”

Dr Ibe Kachikwu,minister of state for petroleum says that President Buhari is still working from London where he is currently receiving medical
treatment.
Kachikwu, who put up a strong defence for
Nigeria’s sick President during a BBC Hard Talk interview in London on Monday, also stated that Buhari had mandated his ministers to stop flying private jets.
The minister said that executive members had
been mandated by the President to fly business class in commercial airlines.When asked about the state of health of the President as his
latest medical vacation entered its second
week, Kachikwu replied, “Yes, he is in London.
He is undergoing hospital treatment, (but) I
don’t know the details of that and I obviously wouldn’t know. But let me say this, he returned
from his first trip in London, even though the doctors advised him to have some rest.
“He’s back to London and he has
continued some levels of meetings and
has been able to play some roles. He has a very efficient Vice-President who
is sitting in for him in his absence. It really hasn’t made much of a difference.”
On whether the President had been transparent
enough to Nigerians as regards his health challenges, the petroleum resources minister
stated that Nigerians were aware of the fact
that Buhari ‘is not too well’.
When asked what was wrong with
Buhari, the minister said, “I don’t know.
But let’s face it; who in the world goes
around giving to everybody what their
medical statuses are? The doctors have
got to be able to release something
official and he’s working through it. It
has not become a major problem.”
When probed further on the capability of
the President to continue in office, the
minister said, “Well, we’ve heard rumours
in Nigeria about sick presidents off and
on, most of them sometimes not quite
correct. Will he be able to lead Nigeria? I
think looking at the sort of conversations
I had with him when he came back, he
was strong enough to do his work,
struggled a bit in terms of trying to fully
recover.
“Nobody plans on illness, it happens. He
has an efficient number two man; the
system works, that’s the whole essence
of democracy. He’s on top of his
abilities to be able to issue policies and
to be able to approve what he needs to
be approved.”Kachikwu maintained that
President Buhari still had the ability to deliver his promises and to take the country to the next level of development.
Asked to explain why Nigeria still has about 11
aircraft for ministerial use despite the economy
suffering a recession, the minister said, “There
isn’t any aircraft for ministerial use. Ministers
don’t use (private) aircraft, we travel public.
There are some presidential jets, some of which
have been put up for sale, although I don’t have
the details.
“But I think it is down from an initial of
about 11 or 12 to something like about
seven and only two or three are really in
proper condition. And I know he’s given some authorisation for some to be sold.
So in terms of numerical accountability he has reduced that substantially.
Ministers are tied to travelling business class by commercial airlines.”

‘Eating Suya Increases Risk Of Death From cancer, Heart Disease,Stroke’ – Researchers
Eating roast beef and lamb, popularly called Suya in Nigeria, increases your chances of
dying from nine major diseases, according to new research.
Red meat raises the risk of death from cancer, Alzheimer’s disease, heart disease
and diabetes, scientists have found.
Beef, lamb and pork also increase your
susceptibility of stroke, infections and kidney,
liver and lung disease.
Yet, regularly eating white meat may reverse the damage, the researchers added.
Those who frequently consume chicken and fish
are 25 per cent less likely to die from various
diseases than those who rarely eat white meat.
Results, published in the British Medical Journal, revealed that people who ate the most
red meat were 26 per cent more likely to die of
various diseases than those who consume the least.
The scientists added that heme iron, a type
only present in animal meat, may contribute to
the risk of dying from cancer or heart disease.
The researchers said: “The results show
increased risks of all cause mortality and death
due to nine different causes associated with
both processed and unprocessed red meat.
“They also show reduced risks associated with
substituting white meat, particularly unprocessed white meat. The effects of meat
on human health may be due to ingredients
such as heme iron, nitrates, and nitrites.”
They said: “High intakes of heme iron have
been shown to be associated with cancer and
cardiovascular disease. Nitrates and nitrites are
added to meat during the curing process.
“Some investigators believe that nitrates from
vegetable sources may have potential benefits,
particularly for cardiovascular health, but
nitrate/nitrite from drinking water and processed meat has been associated with
increased risks of different cancers.”
Consuming a Western diet increases the risk of
developing gout, a new study from Harvard
Medical School reveals.
Researchers have discovered that people are
more likely to have the painful condition if they
indulge in red and processed meats, soft drinks
and sugary treats.
Yet, a diet rich in fruit, vegetables, nuts and
whole grains may protect against gout, they found.
The scientists believe healthy food helps to
lower levels of a chemical called uric acid,
which causes gout.
They hope the findings will lead to new gout
treatments based on a diet of fruit, nuts and
whole grains.
Researchers from the National Cancer Institute
in Maryland tracked the eating habits of
536,000 men and women between the ages of
50 to 71 for 16 years.
They recorded how much meat the participants
consumed, including processed and unprocessed red and white meat, as well as their fish intake.

After one year, we graduated

parents had no money to train her in the University,

go and learn handwork, i told her never to

'It Wasn’t Me, I Used C0ndôm' – Lecturer Accused Of Impregnating His Student Speaks
Punch has reached to Adu,the lecturer accused
of impregnating his student to appeal to him to raise the N50,000 for the baby things, he said he had no money
and would not borrow because Mosunmola had turned him to a “cash cow.”
He said he had already informed his wife about the incident, adding that there was nothing that could surprise him again as he had lost his
credibility over the incident.
Adu said,
“She was one of my students; but on a personal level, I never knew her until
after they released her final results and she failed some courses, including mine.
“Her HOD asked her to come and ask me if I could waive the course for her.
She called me on the phone and came to see me in the office.
That was my
first contact with this lady. When she made her request, I met her HOD who
said I should assist her. He said even if I did, she might not sit for the board exam because of the other courses she failed.
So, I passed her.
“When they sat for the board exam, I was surprised to see her and I asked her
HOD why she wrote the exam when she
had other courses she failed. He said people begged for her.
“After the board exam, she came to
thank me for the assistance and she
asked to carry my bag and the
instruments I used to conduct the exam.
By the time she was leaving, I collected
my bag from her, but I forgot my
instruments with her.
“That day, I went to hang out with my
friend at the pool of a hotel where we
lodged. Suddenly, I remembered my
instruments and I called her to keep them well. But she said she could come
to where I was and she came. After dropping the instruments, she didn’t
leave as I expected and I decided not to bother her.
“We were together at the hotel till
evening. One thing led to the other. My
brother, she slept in my room that night
and we had (sexual) intercourse. This
was a girl I never dated or had any
relationship with.”
He said by weekend, Mosunmola called him that
she was pregnant, adding that she later said
she was only joking about it and wanted to see
his reaction.
Adu said the call made him to stop
communicating with Mosunmola and he did not
respond anytime she called, until she sent him a
text message saying the pregnancy had become
real.
He said,
“I decided to travel down to Ijebu to see
her. She brought out the test result and
said I was responsible. I told her I used
a condom and she couldn’t tell me that
my condom burst. She said if I was
afraid because I was married, I should
not bother because the pregnancy
actually belonged to her boyfriend and
she merely wanted to see my reaction. I warned her and left.
“The next time she called me, she said
how would she take my pregnancy to her
boyfriend, and that I should take
responsibility for it. She said she would
abort the pregnancy if I wanted her to,
but I must rent a house for her in Ijebu
Ode and then she described the kind of
house she wanted.
“When I heard that, I told her to do her
worst, because it was obvious to me that she just wanted to blackmail me.
She had been going round different places, telling people that I impregnated
her. The question I ask is, did I rape her?
Did I hypnotise her? You came to meet
me where I was and we had fun, and
now you are pregnant, and you are
telling me I am responsible for a
pregnancy I am denying?”
He said before Mosunmola could reach his wife,
he quickly reported himself to her and begged
for her forgiveness.
The medical practitioner said he reluctantly
agreed to pay the N5,000 after much
persuasion by the human rights lawyer, adding
that he regretted the agreement because
Mosunmola used it to make more demands on
him.
“When she brought the list for the baby
things, I asked her, ‘Why are you making
me as if I am the father of your baby?
Am I your husband?
“She suddenly flared up and said I should
even go away that she didn’t want
anything from me again. She cursed me
and after that encounter, I decided to
stop giving her anything,” he added.
He said Mosunmola came to attack him during
the lecture. He said she was about stripping
him naked when he forcefully detached himself
from her.
Adu explained that the case of assault against
him at the Ilese division had been thrown out
after he told the police the student was the
aggressor.
“People impregnate people and nothing happens. Why is she treating me as if I
had done something criminal?
“The worst that will happen now is for
me to die. I am not a young man; if I die,
people will cry and I will be done.
“But I also ask myself, what if the
pregnancy is mine? My prayer now is for
her to deliver safely and we will
determine the paternity of the child,” he
said.
The Ogun State Police Public Relations Officer,
Abimbola Oyeyemi, said he would get back to
our corrrespondent after speaking with the Ilese
DPO.
He is yet to do so as of the time of filing this report.

28-Year-Old Student Cries Out After Being Impregnated By Her Lecturer (Details/Photos)
According to Punch, a lecturer at the Ogun State College of Health Technology, Ilese Ijebu,
Dr Oluseyi Adu, and a Dental Nursing student, Mosunmola, are in a row over who is
responsible for the pregnancy that the nursing student is carrying.
Mosunmola, who is nine months pregnant, alleged that Adu was responsible for the child in
her womb, adding that they had Sêx in a hotel
sometime in August, 2016. She said the lecturer
beat her up last month when she confronted him at the college for avoiding her, adding that
the case was already at the Ilese Police Station.
Mosunmola told Punch correspondent that she
underwent a three-year course at the college,
adding that several lecturers had asked her out
before Adu, but she refused. She said,
“Dr Adu is the Oral Health Coordinator
for the college. During my three years
study, he taught me two courses each semester. I have never failed his course.
“When I got to second semester, 300 level, he awarded me 38 in one of his
courses. I went to his office in August
2016 to know why I failed the course. I
needed to pass all my courses to be able to go for my board exam.
“He asked me if I thought I could just
come to the school and go like that. He
said if I dated him, he would waive the
course. He said he didn’t approach me in
100 level because another lecturer was
interested in dating me.
“The lecturer he mentioned told me in
100 level that it was either I paid him
money or used my body to pass his
course. Because I didn’t agree, I failed
his course. I didn’t pass it until I got to
300 level.
“I told Adu that I would date him, but I didn’t want to have any problem, and he
assured me that there would be no regret.”
The victim said the lecturer took her to the
office of the Head of Department and after
some discussions, it was agreed that she could
sit for the board exam.
After the board exam at POGIL College of Health Technology, Oke-Eri, Ijebu Ode, on
August 21, Adu, who was among those on the
panel, was said to have given Mosunmola some
of his practical instruments and a laptop for safekeeping.
However, Mosunmola said when the school bus
arrived to take the students back to the school, she forgot to give the practical instruments
back to the lecturer. She said Adu later called
and asked her to bring the instruments to a
hotel where he lodged.
“I was preparing to leave when he called
me back that I would be sleeping over
with him.
“I met him with another lecturer in my
department. I observed that the lecturer
also had a female student with him.
From the hotel, we went to different
places before we finally lodged in
another hotel along Ilese Road. While I
was with Adu in a room, my other classmate passed the night with the
second lecturer in another room.
“We had three rounds of Sêx. He didn’t release on time. He used two côndoms
for the first two rounds. The third round was, however, flesh-to-flesh. That was
when he ejaculated inside me,” she explained.
She said the lecturer dropped her off at home
and they continued their relationship, until she
stopped seeing her menstruation a few weeks
later. The Ogun State indigene said she became
worried after she started vomiting, adding that
she took a pregnancy test, which was positive.
She said when Adu heard the news, he reluctantly accepted responsibility, but allegedly
gave her a drug, Eprostol, to abort the
pregnancy. She said,
“I refused to take the drug because the prescription was not from a medical
doctor. He came down to my place to persuade me to take the drug, but I still
refused. He asked me what I wanted and I told him that I needed to change my
accommodation because the pregnancy
was a shameful thing for me. He told me
not to worry, that he would handle it.
After that, we had sex.
“When he left that day, I could not find
my phone again. By the time I got
another phone and called him, he started
acting funny. Sometime, he would just laugh at me.”
Punch learnt that several people had attempted
to mediate in the situation without any success.
Mosunmola said attempts by Adu’s HOD, dean,
and provost to mediate were rebuffed by the lecturer.
The victim said she later approached the
Human Rights Office of the Ogun State Ministry
of Justice at Ijebu-Ode, where a lawyer, one
Kolade, called the parties for a meeting.
Adu was reported to have agreed to pay N5,000
feeding allowance per month, in addition to
paying N7,000 for ante-natal registration. After
paying the allowance for two months, Adu reportedly stopped.
The parties reportedly held another meeting in
March at the human rights office to review the
agreement. Conflict was said to have broken
out among the parties when Mosunmola
presented a list of things required for her
delivery, which she valued at N50,000.
Adu was said to have insisted on paying
N30,000, which the 28-year-old refused.
“I didn’t have any accommodation and I
couldn’t buy any of the drugs the
doctors prescribed for me. I told him I
would only manage the N50,000. He left
in annoyance.
“Since March, the lawyer didn’t call us
back and Adu refused to pay the N5,000
he used to give me every month. I called
the lawyer late March and asked him to
help me get the N30,000, but the lawyer
said I should not call him again,” she said.
After reporting the lecturer to the Permanent
Secretary, Ogun State Ministry of Health, where
Adu also worked, without any result, Mosunmola
said she became desperate and went to the college on April 13 when she knew Adu would
be taking a class.
She said while pleading with him for money for her medical expenses, the lecturer assaulted
her. She said some people intervened and she
reported a case of assault to the police at the
Ilese division, Ijebu Ode.
“I am now in my 38 weeks and anytime
soon, I will have my child. I am an orphan and I don’t have any of my baby
items ready. I am begging Nigerians to
come to my rescue. I know I have made
a mistake, but I need a second chance
at life. I don’t have anywhere to go. It is a church that is accommodating me
now,” she said.

Kidnappers Murder Man In Ogun State After Collecting Ransom (Photo)
from his home in the Isheri area of Ogun State to Igbokoda, Ondo
State, where they killed him after collecting a ransom,has been
smashed by Ogun state police command.
The suspects' names were
given as Fadeni Henry, Lebile
Olatunji, Ehuwa Oririe, Olotu
Tosin, Oluwole Ohunayo, and
Peter Omogbemi. i The leader of the gang, 23-
year-old Henry, had
reportedly struck a relationship with the victim
on the social media, and
allegedly lured him to Igbokoda, the gang's base, on Friday, May 12,
2017. The state Commissioner of
Police, Ahmed Iliyasu, said
the wife of the victim had
reported the kidnap of her
husband to the police.
He said the command's
detectives, men of the Anti-
Kidnapping Unit and
operatives of the Federal
Special Anti-Robbery Squad
were directed to rescue the victim. Iliyasu said it was later
discovered that Henry and other members of his gang had lured the
victim, who
was a surveyor, to Igbokoda.
He said operatives of FSARS,
stormed the gang's hideout in Igbokoda, adding that the
hoodlums engaged the police
in a gun battle. He said six members of the
gang were arrested after the
gun battle. He said, "Investigation into
the case revealed that the
suspects collected some
amount of money from the
family of the victim, but
instead of releasing him, they killed him and dumped his corpse in a
river behind the
Holy Trinity African Primary
School, Igbokoda. "The corpse of the victim was
recovered and brought to
Abeokuta with the suspects."
The CP added that the
victim's mobile phone was
recovered from the hoodlums. "Weapons recovered from the
suspects are one pump-action
gun, one cut-to-size locally-
made double-barrelled pistol
and seven live cartridges,"
the police commissioner said. The leader of the kidnap ring,
Henry, said the members of
the gang strangled the victim. The secondary school dropout
said, "He was my friend on a
social media platform and I
invited him to Igbokoda. "On getting to Igbokoda, I
delayed seeing him till
around 9pm. We picked him
and took him to the primary
school. "We tied his hands to his back
after we had collected the
N20,000 we found in his
pocket. We later got his ATM
pin and withdrew another
N30,000 from his account.
"We called his wife and she
also sent money to an
account number that we gave her. The family members kept
sending money, but they did
not know we had killed him." Iliyasu warned criminally-
minded persons to leave
Ogun State, adding that if
they did not, "they will soon
meet their Waterloo."

blood covenant with Joy, i never told her about it,
i dont really know how to tell her and what if i tell her and she refused.
Another spirit ministered to my mind and instructed me to go ahead and tell her.
I now started my plans to do the blood covenant with her, the main
reason why i wanted
to covenant her is because i dont want to cheat on her and i dont want
her to cheat
on me too. So i quickly rushed outside and i bought a razor,
and a white handkerchief, my mind was so strong to do the
covenant, i never thought of any negative effect because i
know that i must keep it up with her till we get married.
After two days, i called Joy and
told her that we will go to
somewhere tomorrow, a very important place, a place where
nobody will see us, a place where there will be no noise, a
place where gentle breeze will
stream into our hearts.
she promise that she will come to my house so that we will go
to the place together.

The next day, she came out, looking so gorgeous and succulent, and i
took her away to a very far distance where

she now come close to me and kissed me, and she said....."The
kiss is my prove to show you that i really love you".
I now told her that, kiss is too small to show how-much you
love me, kissing me dose not mean you love me, someone who

These words broke her heart and she started crying, she was crying and
i was crying

and nothing shall

After telling her this, she
became afraid and she said no that she cannot do it, i now
said......"if you cannot do it, that
simply means that you do not love me, it means that you
cannot die for me, it means that you are not my love and
you are not
my wife to be, it means that i can never love any woman in
my life again, it means that you want me dead".
Joy burst into tears again, i now brought out the razor, i
gave it to her and asked her to use it on her body so that blood
will come out, she was crying and she collected the razor and held it
and was still crying,
with my own crying voice i said
to her......
"PLssssssss do it.."
finally she used the razor and injured one of her finger, i leaked the
blood and i injured
myself also and she leaked the blood too.
before leaking the blood, we took an oath never to cheat on each
other, never to have 5ex with anyone else, never to
separate,
and to love our self till death and anybody that breaks the
agreement should die.
After everything, we went home around 7:pm in the evening.

Sunday Lesson:10 Reasons Why It Is More Blessed To Give Than To Receive
The most unbelieved beatitude in the Bible is:
“It is more blessed to give than receive” (Acts
20:35).
The giver happier than the getter? Surely some goodmistake? That goes against all our intuitions
and instincts. So let me help you to believe it
and act upon it by giving you ten reasons why
it is more blessed to give than to receive.
1. Giving obeys God’s command
The Old Testament has way more commands
about financial giving – who, when, and how
much – than the New Testament. Maybe the
New Testament writers just assumed that as
God had given far more to us in the New
Testament – giving Himself to death – that our
giving should follow fairly logically and easily.
But, just in case we might miss the link, there
are clear New Testament commands also (e.g.
1 Corinthians 1:2). As all of God’s commands
are given to enhance our lives, obeying this
command will increase our happiness.
2. Giving submits to God’s Lordship
Every act of obedience recognizes that there is
a higher authority in our lives, that there is a
Lord over us who is entitled to honor and
respect. Due to our temperament, personality,
or circumstances, we may find some
commands relatively easy to obey. Our
submission is really tested in the areas where
our own nature and situation make obedience
more difficult. For most of us, money is one of
those areas. Our wallet is often the last citadel
to fall to God’s rule, and even when it does fall,
it gets rebuilt and re-secured again all too quickly.
If only we could remember that Divine Lordship
is not a threat; rather it’s the place of greatest
safety.
3. Giving exhibits God’s heart
God is THE giver of every good and perfect gift
(James 1:17). As His image-bearers we are
called to copy His giving, to be mini-pictures of
His infinitely large heart. The larger our hearts
(and the wider our hands), the larger the
picture we paint of God’s character. What do
people think of God when they think of the way
you use your money?
4. Giving illustrates God’s salvation
At the heart of the Gospel is sacrificial self-
giving (John 3:16). That’s why when the
Apostle Paul wanted to encourage the
Corinthians to give more, he pointed them to
the person and work of Christ. “For you know
the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though
He was rich, yet for your sakes He became
poor, that you through His poverty might
become rich” (2 Corinthians 2:9). Yes, you
abound in faith, love, etc., but “see that you
abound in this grace also.” When we give
sacrificially, painfully, for the benefit of others,
we are faintly and on a small-scale preaching
the Gospel message.
5. Giving trusts God’s provision
The biggest deterrent to giving is fear, the fear
that if I give away too much I won’t have
enough for this or that. When we give
sacrificially, above and beyond what is
comfortable and easy, we are expressing our
faith and trust in God to provide for us and our
family. This is not an argument for folly, but for
faith. Many Christians have discovered the joy
of casting their crumbs of bread upon the
waters and multiple loaves returning after many
days (Ecclesiastes 11:1). It’s such a joy to see
God fulfill His promise of provision when we
obey Him.
6. Giving widens God’s smile
The Lord loves a cheerful giver (2 Corinthians
2:7). It delights Him to see His people gladly
opening their hearts and hands to provide for
the needs of His Church and indeed of all His
creatures. Through Paul, God repeatedly
commends and praises those who gave of their
funds and of themselves to Gospel work (2
Corinthians 8:1). There’s nothing that makes a
Christian happier than knowing that she’s made
God happy, and happy giving means a happy
God.
7. Giving advances God’s kingdom
Many of us have contributed to Apple in one
way or another. We have helped to grow the
company from a garage operation to the
worldwide empire it is today. And I’m happy
about that, as it’s a company that has brought
many blessings to the world. But think of what
blessing results when we fund the mission of
Christ’s church. We are paying salaries of
ministers and missionaries. We are funding
resources for outreach, evangelism, and
discipleship. But above all we are investing in
the spiritual and eternal welfare of people from
every nation, tribe, kindred and tongue. Our
dollars are changing homes, relationships,
countries, and even the eternal destiny of many
souls.
8. Giving promotes God’s sanctification
Giving not only promotes God’s work through
us, but also God’s work in us, our
sanctification. Giving money, especially when it
pains us, requires much self-denial and self-
crucifixion. However, as every act of giving
weakens and even breaks our sinful and selfish
nature, the more God’s grace spreads in our
hearts. Yes, money leaves our pockets, but sin
also leaves our heart. And that’s a great deal.
Priceless actually.
9. Giving testifies to God’s power
Although we are not to let our left hand know
what our right hand does, it’s pretty obvious
that Christians give a lot to their churches and
Christian charities. Even secular observers have
noticed with amazement how generous
Christians often are with their money. They may
not say it but they surely must think it: “This
must be the real deal for people to give away
so much of their own money. They must really
believe this stuff. The God they worship and
serve must be incredibly powerful to make
people so generous.”
10. Giving praises God’s character
Giving in a right spirit is an act of worship. It is
rendering Him a tribute of praise. It is saying.
“You gave me everything and here is a small
expression of my gratitude and praise for all
your good gifts. It’s only a token, a sample of
what I really feel, but you know the heart that
lies behind it. As David sang: “What shall I
render to the Lord for all his benefits towards
me?” (Psalms 116:12)

Don't Sign 2017 Budget - Falana Advises Osinbajo
Femi Falana (SAN), has
advised the Acting President
Yemi Osinbajo not to sign the
2017 budget because it was
illegally increased by the National Assembly.
He also said that President
Muhammadu Buhari is not
competent to sign the
appropriation bill into law
because he is on vacation.
Falana spoke in Ilorin, during
a colloquium organised by the
Movement for Genuine
Change to mark the 50th
anniversary of the creation of
Kwara State. He explained that once Buhari
had transmitted a letter to
the National Assembly that
he was proceeding on
vacation, all presidential
powers had automatically been transferred to Osinbajo
who is now the Acting
President. He stated that until the
President writes another
letter to the federal
parliament at the end of his
vacation, he cannot exercise
the powers of his office.
Falana said, "The President is not competent to sign any bill into law
while he is on vacation. The constitution did not envisage that a
President who is on a vacation and an acting president, who is
standing proxy for him will be exercising presidential powers
simultaneously.
"To that extent, pending the resumption of duties by President Buhari,
the Acting President, Prof. Osinbajo, is competent to sign all bills
validly passed by the NASS.
"If President Buhari did not exercise powers during his vacation even
though he was in the country, why would he want to do so while he is
on medical vacation abroad?
"Instead of dissipating energy over the competence of an appropriation
bill signed
into law by the Acting President, Nigerians should subject the 2017
budget to scrutiny.
"We are therefore calling on the Acting President of the Federal
Republic of Nigeria, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, who is a professor of law
not to endorse and sign the illegal appropriation bill of 2017 into
law." Falana also explained that the
National Assembly has no constitutional powers to increase the budget
presented by Buhari. He said the legislators erred
constitutionally by increasing
their share of the budget. He also said the debate over
Buhari's medical vacation
should henceforth centre on
the urgent need for the
Federal Government to equip
hospitals across the country. The Senior Advocate of
Nigeria condemned any
attempt to truncate Nigeria's
democracy and urged Buratai
to properly investigate the
coup rumour and prosecute the culprits

crazy about her, i cant stay a moment without
thinking of her,
my mind always beat for her, i never got myself
again, i dont really know
whats wrong with me, am already drown
with her love.
One day i called her on phone and i asked her
this silly question.......
."Who am i to you'"?.....she said
"hmmmmm and she smiled then answered...
."You are my
everything, you are the only thing i have". This word almost fainted me. i
said ok and i
kissed her on the phone.
After one month of falling
inlove with Joy, i began to develop heart pains and high blood
pleasure and the
only remedy for this is just for her to be with
me always.
One fateful Monday morning in school after our morning assembling, i

class, so i immediately
ran after her, she was angry, i saw anger on her face,......What is

became angry also.

her and asked her
to keep the balance.
she was so happy and

This made her to love me more and more.
