Prince oponed the door and behold,it was Ona.I made to come out from
my hiding but i
decided to stay where i was,to find out her mission.


She was panting."Dagger,there is problem.A girl who refused to play
along with mady has
escaped.Mady is on her way to this place to tell you to mobilise
your boys and search for her.This is her passport....."


I Peeped and saw her bring out a passport.I knew it's my
passport.I saw prince stare at the passport.Shaking his head.


"Please dont hurt her when you eventually find her.Rather save her
life.The poor girl is just
helpless and innocent.The
baby under your care to be sold to the ritualists is hers. I gave her

On hearing this,i came out from my hiding.


"My daughter..my
daughter..."that was all i was saying.Ona was so shocked to find me
there.Prince told her what happened and added
that i used to be a good friend of his back in school.


Prince told me that he would help me on one
condition,beingthat i must tell nobody about mady and the
kind of business she does.I agreed and he made me
swear.I wondered why he was trying to protect the evil woman.Perhaps
they are all into the business together.The
same doom awaited them.


He arranged a room for me in a
distant hotel for the mean
time.He brought my daughter to me that very day.I was so grateful to
him and Ona.Perhaps he decided to help
me because how good i used to be to him back in our school
days. Even Ona.Another Godsent i dont know how to repay her but i know
God will see her
through somebody.


Prince gave me a huge sum of money to travel to another
state and start life afresh.I owed him alot.I never got any
information on what transpired
after prince and ona saved me.I
didnt also know anything
about Nnamdi's
whereabout.Evenmama joy and my parents.But i knew and
believed that i would see them
again someday.What gave me
the greatest joy was my
winnie,my daughter.

My take on it is that the book as presented,

contains many distorted

claims on the 2015

presidential election by

many of the respondents "There will obviously be

more books like that on

this subject by concerned Nigerians.





However, I believe that

at the right time, the main characters in the

election including

myself will come out

with a true account of

what transpired either

in major interviews or books."

I woke up with the
intense desire to cook something wonderful for my hubby –

it is a Saturday.

After praying a short prayer, I set out to do just that. Richy had a
very stressful day
yesterday
followed by a very extensive
talk/argument. Yesterday
night, we had talked and
talked about all the events
of the week. He had
arrived looking so stressed out
and
tired that I almost
discarded
my anger to pamper him a
bit, just as he does with me;
but I reckoned that doing
that would push aside the
settlement of what was
on
ground. ***
He entered and I
welcomed
him in a casual way
without
the usual welcome kiss. He
looked at me critically
with
his tired eyes almost
pleading for a loving
affection. "What is the
matter honey? No
welcome
kiss?"
I shook my head slowly. "No
sir. No kiss today, we
need
to talk". I wanted to
continue but I just
couldn't. He looked really tired that
I
decided to relent a little
bit,
even though I still had
that carefully placed casual
look.
I collected his laptop bag
and suit jacket, carrying
them into the room. He
tagged along, not uttering a
word but I knew he must
be terribly curious.
Immediately we entered
the
masters' bedroom, he just lay flat on the bed, closing
his eyes without
removing
anything. It dawned on
me
that he must be terribly tired; that could only
explain why he was not
pestering me already.
I pulled off his shoes and
socks, massaging his feet
with my hands. I moved to
his shoulders, massaging
them slowly. His tension
eased a bit and he opened
his eyes slowly. I felt
stupid for challenging him
immediately he entered
even though that was the
most reasonable thing to
do when we tend to
postpone issues a lot, enjoying each other's
company. Maybe that is
why
he did not even remember
to tell me about Oyinade,
I thought. Maybe he fired
her
because he already has a
child on the way. I
banished
all evil thoughts from my brain as I stared at
Richard's tired profile. I
tugged at his suit.
"Why don't you take a
shower while I set your
dinner" I said quietly. He looked into my eyes with
his blue eyes, maybe
reading my thoughts.
Normally, he would have
tried to know what was
on my mind but he just
nodded and sat up; maybe
he hadn't even heard me.
He started unbuttoning his
shirt but I went and took
over from him, he shook slightly and I smiled. He
smiled back. "You know the
power you have over me,
don't you?"
I feigned innocence which
only made him smile
more. After I had removed his
clothes, I marched him to
the bathroom like a kid,
leaving him there to
prepare his food.
We lay on the bed after eating and listening to
news. He was fidgeting
with my hair; he loves
touching it.
"I am all ears. What do
you want us to talk about that
deprived me of my kiss?"
Oh! So he heard. I sighed.
"We can start by you
explaining why you
sacked Oyinade without telling
me
anything about it"
Richard's hand froze. I
took
that as affirmation and stood up. You are keeping
secrets from me Richard
and it is hurting me."
The
very first time in months I
would call him by his name.
"I know the girl is a harlot
bent on ruining other
people's marriages and I
am partially happy that
she is out of our lives but that
does not negate the fact
that you almost got her
pregnant in the quest of
having a child"
Richard was up too, looking
at me tongue-tied like
something was wrong
with
me. That even made me
angrier. "Tell me: since
when did you stop
believing that I could
actually get pregnant?"
He got back his tongue.
"What nonsense are you ranting?" he growled.
My eyes widened. "So now I
am saying nonsense,
right?" I spat glaring.
"I don't know what the
hell
is going through your brain
but I certainly don't know
how a mere flimsy hug

he almost yelled, glaring.
We glared at each other

some seconds before I
looked away. "Well, it was not just the
mere hug" I said quietly,
boiling with anger. "I
received a call a day
before
from an anonymous caller
telling me of your
escapades with your mistress. The hug was a
confirmatory sign.
" I
laughed slightly; bitterly.
"As
if that was not enough, she
had the guts to visit me on
the hospital bed after I
fainted to explain to me
how you desperately
needed a child and that since I could not give you
one, she was-"
"What?" Richard yelled,
cutting me short. He was
pacing angrily while I
stood with arms akimbo. "What
rubbish? That lying
wench…" he paced and
paced, making me dizzy.
"Oh… so she is lying? Easy
to say since she is not here to defend herself." I said
cheekily.
He stopped and glared at
me. "You don't believe me?
Ok. Tell me what is
between
you and Kelvin. You met
him
before you met me and you
must love him more but
why must you have
anything to do with him
after all he did to you. I

him in your office also, so confident that you would

MASSOB-"Kanu’s Release Brings Us Closer To Biafra Restoration"

Following the release of IPOB Leader,Nnamdi Kanu,The Movement for the

noted that the use of the LPG,

popularly known as cooking

change agreement,

Muhammadu Buhari's

government.





He advised the Nigerian

government to promote the

usage of LPG among

Nigerians. Similarly, Adeshina

commended the government

for the ratification of the

Paris agreement on climate

change. With the ratification of the

pact, the association said,

Nigeria has committed to

reducing greenhouse gas

emissions unconditionally by

20 per cent and conditionally by 45 per cent. The Paris agreement, the

statement added, was

expected to deliver $100

billion per year by 2020 in

support of developing

countries to take climate actions. Adeshina, therefore, enjoined

the government to ensure full

and speedy implementation

of the agreement, adding

that poor implementation

could deny the country its benefits. Ihaza said he has acquired

about 453.9 hectares and

I headed into the darkness of the night. I was filled with fear as i knew not where to go. Ona gave me her telephone number.

I blamed my parents for abandoning me in the first place. How could they be so
heartless. They care not about what happens to me because i got pregnant.

Despite the fact that i pleaded and begged
them. I pitied other people who were blessed with understanding parents. If i had
aborted the baby as Nnamdi told me, they wouldn’t have abandoned me. They wouldn’t
have even know i was pregnant at all. But the consequences may be disastrous.

Firstly, sinning against God double inorder
to cover one sin committed.
Secondly, i may never get pregnant again.
I decided to accept my fate.I searched for where to lay my head that night. I saw an
uncompleted building and moved in. I prayed earnestly for God’s protection. I
remembered my daughter and wept bitterly.

I thought of Mama Joy and concluded that i
will narate my ordeals to her the following
day when i eventually find her.
In the middle of that same night, i heard
footsteps. I curled up, listening attentively.
They were coming into the uncompleted
building. My heart started beating faster, i
heard their voice, they were men. A cold
shiver ran through me.
Then entered and saw me, immediately, i
saw them bring out their weapons. Guns,
axes and cutlasses. They were six in
number. I was able to count them because
one of them shone a little torch towards me.
“i mean no harm please. Don’t kill me” my voice was shaky.

“Who are you and what do you want here?”
One of them barked and pointed the torch at my face.

“Nneoma?” I was shocked as i heard him call my name. He called me again “Is that
you?” At this i nodded while still looking at his face to find out who he was. I finallygot it.

“Prince” i called him.
Prince used to be my classmate until i got pregnant and stopped school. I used to help
him his class work and assignment back in
those days. During exams, i wrote answers
in piece of paper, squeezed it and threw it to him.

“Dagger, you know her?” that was the question his members started asking him.

I kept looking at his face in disbelief as he nodded his head in affirmation. He told
them to keep back their weapons.

That night i slept at his place. He told me
to sleep on the bed while, he slept on the
floor.
When it was morning, i narrated my ordeals
to him. When i got to my escapade with
Mady, he breathed heavily, lowered his head
and looked at me for a very long time. I was
suprised when he told me that he’s Mady’s
agent and that he can help me get back my
daughter because of the things i did for him
back in school.

Omotosho of the Federal High Court, sitting in
Port Harcourt, Rivers State on a 6-count charge
bordering on Conspiracy and Obtaining Money by False Pretense to the tune of Five Thousand Two Hundred and Sixty American U S Dollars
($5,260).

Onuoha Danhessy Akachukwu (alias Joe Dickson) is alleged to have used false Facebook
accounts to defraud one Maria Jose Alvarez, an American of the sum of Five Thousand, Two
Hundred and Sixty American U S Dollars ($5,260).

The defendant who claimed to be an American Engineer based in the United Kingdom
hoodwinked his victims by establishing a romantic relationship which according to him, will lead to marriage.

The defendant pleaded not guilty to the charge when it was read to him.

In view of his pleas, the prosecution counsel, R.E. Alao asked the court to fix a date for trial.

With the defense counsel absence in court, Justice Omotosho adjourned the matter to the 18th day of May, 2017 for hearing and ordered that the defendant be remanded in prison
custody.

blinking while the old man
was foaming. The men

inside checked all the
documents and confirmed

even the surname. the

out. The old man just
looked like he was dreaming.

The ever accommodating
Joke brought out a bottle of
champagne and invited
them to join. What do you
expect? the policemen obliged.

“Is this what i brought you
here to do?” the chief yelled.

The policemen glared atbhim.

The chief, obviously
frustrated stormed out

The policemen had left
minutes later, apologizing
for the inconvenience and

Chief Rammon got to his
house dejected. He could

He checked for number 44,
noting the colour of the
house. He checked the picture again and made a mental picture.

He got to the gate and pressed the bell. A figure came out and he immediately identified the
lady as the one he had seen
in the picture.

She opened the gate and he
smiled.
“Hello” he said and pulled
the trigger.

Meet The Actress Banned From Acting For A Year Because She Is 'Too Sêxy' (Photos)

A Cambodian actress has been banned from making any new movies for a year because the
country's cultural bosses say she is 'too Sêxy'.

Denny Kwan, 24, who has appeared in numerous
movies, has had a 're-education' session with the Culture and Fine Arts Ministry after it was
decided she had violated a code of conduct.

With 300,000 Facebook followers around the
world, Miss Kwan said that the parts she played
in movies were nothing like the erot!c roles played by other actresses.

'In Cambodia, there are many Sêxy artists.

Some are even more than me when shooting, featuring kissing and being erotic,' she said. 'I
know it's my right to dress how I want, but our culture, Cambodian people, cannot accept it,'

'prevent any negative effects of the arts and
tradition of the nation.'
Now, for the next 12 months, Miss Kwan must
not step in front of any movie camera - a punishment that has caused outrage among
freedom and women's groups in the country.

STORY:THE MISTAKE OF MY LIFE (Episode 8)

I knocked on Mady’s door thrice before she opened it. I greeted her. she yawned,
looked at the wall clock hanging on the wall. It was 5.45am.

“How was your night?” she asked.

“fine” i replied. She made to usher me in, perhaps to hear
me tell her ‘yes, i will accept the offer’ but i was reluctant. She noticed and asked if

“I want to see my child” i told her. She looked at me intently as if she didn’t know it was i. After much staring, she told
me that my child is with the nursery mistress.

“Where do i find her?” i asked.
She said nothing. All she did was to walk
into her room and come back with a little
bag. she handed it over to me.

“This is the money we talked about. take it
and leave. I have taken your daughter as
mine already. Go and get ready with the
rest girls, you are going on your first outing
with them today?” She said and shut the
door.
“Noo i don’t want your money. I need my
daughter. I don’t want to stay here
anymore. Give my my daughter so i can
leave” i kept shouting as i hit the door hard.
I threw away the money. I can never exchange my Winnie, the first fruit of my womb for money.

I was still there when three Hefty men came out from nowhere and ordered me to
keep quiet. I refused. One of them gave me
the hardest slap i ever received since i was
born. I had no other choice than to keep quiet amidst sobs.

They locked me in one room. I knew Mady
ordered them to do that. I cried bitterly. I
prayed to God to hearken unto my cries for
i know i have sinned. I cursed the day i
slept with Nnamdi. I cursed the day i met
him.
Throughout that day, i was locked up with
no food nor water. I became very weak.
It was around 10pm that i heard the door
open slightly. Ona creeped in and signaled
to me to keep quiet. She locked the door
and gave me the food she brought for me.
“I saw what happened. I have been looking
for a chance to bring you something but i
found none. Please eat the food fast before Mady finds me here” she whispered.

After eating, she told me that Mady locked me up so that i will die of starvation. Ona
said Mady has killed countless girls in that manner. I was really surprised at this that i
gave out a loud gasp.

“But because i found out you are a nice person, i decided to help you. I put something in that ”three men’s” drink to
make them sleep. I want you to escape”She said.

I was really touched with this kind of kindness.

“But how do i escape without my daughter?”
I asked.
It was then Ona told me that my daughter
has been taken away. She gave me some
money, led me carefully out of the house
and bade me safe journey.
“Thank you so much Ona. God will bless
you” i said as i left.
I looked into the darkness of the night with
a great fear, not knowing where to go. I
wondered if i could survive that night and if i can ever see my daughter again.

STORY:BEAUTIFUL BELINA (Season 2,Episode 37)

Richard sat in his office,
feeling very excited. He
had enjoyed every bit of last night.

The dinner out was
awesome but the conclusive part of the day
had been simply mind-
blowing. Belina had been
so tired and sleepy this
morning, understandably so, that he had made
breakfast for her in bed.
They had prayed together
and he had prepared for
work.


Richard was expecting Doctor Felix, in order to
receive reports of how the hospital was after his
departure.


He was considering the prospect of making him his assistant now that
Oyinade was gone.


He responded to the
knock he received and
Doctor Felix waltzed in, in
his usual manner. Richard gestured a seat
and
listened as the doctor
gave a detailed account of the welfare of the hospital. "… the patient in ward 9
by name Mr Kelvin is now out of coma" he said after some minutes.


Richard's interest was
pricked. "Wow… when did that happen?" he asked, sitting up.


"About 5:23 yesterday sir" he responded, and then took his eyes away
from the book, looking at Richard.


"Sir, do you know the man personally?" he asked, although he already
knew the answer to that;
Richard's behaviour when
the patient was to be
treated showed it. He did
not expect their
relationship to be a pleasant one, though.

"Yeah. Yeah, I do" Richard
said, letting out no
emotion.

"Obviously… The patient
was restless when he found out that he was being admitted in BRH and more
so when he was told that
you attended to him"


Doctor Felix said. "He
became so violent that we had to sedate him. He
tried to escape around 3am this morning but we caught up with him and
since then had someone to monitor his room"
Richardbecame worried
and his face portrayed this but he knew that only one thing can make
someone that restless – guilt.

He stood up. "I am going to see him now, you may
go".

I arrived Prisca's boutique and was greeted by all the smiling
workers. They all looked beautiful as usual,
in beautiful clothes and nice braids.

I looked around, admiring all the beautiful
clothes surrounding me.
"Sweetheart" I was
jerked from my window-
shopping when I heard Prisca's voice.


"You make me feel as
though you wanna buy
everything here". She
said, coming over with a smile.


She faced one of her
workers and gasped. "Did
she drop a mouth-

cheque?"
Everyone laughed hard,
including me. I walked up to her and gave her a cool
hug.
Prisca and I proceeded

served a very cool drink. I looked round at the

of the office. The office
has
changed since the last
time I came which was about a
month ago.

doing?" she asked
immediately we sat.
I scoffed. "What makes you
think I am bearing a boy?"
"My instincts tell me
Richard
is much more stronger
than you are" she replied with
a
grin.
"you would be surprised" I
replied cheekily.
"have you gone for scan?" I shook my head, sipping
my drink. "No. Richard is
too over-pampering,he
won't allow me lift a
finger.
If he knew I stepped out of the house, he would
explode" I sighed visibly.
Prisca laughed.


"can you blame him? It is his first child we are talking about
here"
I scoffed. "was it this
terrible when you had
Pat?"


I asked synically. "it can't be this way forever
dear. Tony was also this
over-protectiveat first"
I smiled.

"I can't say I don't enjoy the pampering at times."
She laughed. "corrupt soul.

Anyways, I think he is just
trying to make up for the
serious incidents of last week. That oyinade girl is
a witch"
I hissed. "don't mind that
harlot. I have not had her
time" Prisca shook her head.

"thank God Richard fired
her before she did any
more damage"

I opened my mouth. He
hadn't told me that. Prisca took one look at my
stupefied face and
deduced what I was thinking.


"he did not tell you?"
I shook my head. "not a single word".
"I shouldn't have then"
Prisca said, obviously
saddened that I had to
hear it from her. I pestered her but she refused to say any
other thing. I resigned.
Richard obviously has
some explaining to do.
