2face Idibia National Protest To Now Hold On Feb.6 When Buhari Returns

The planned Nationwide protest scheduled for
February 5, has now been moved to February 6,
2017. The reason for the 24-hour shift is for the
protest to co-incide with the date President
Buhari will resume work.
Buhari is currently on a 10-day medical vacation
in the United Kingdom and he's expected back
the country on Monday February 6, 2017.

THE LAST S.E.X (A TOUCHING SHORT STORY) Episode 2

"My marriage has ended. Oh
my God, how will I
explain this to my husband?

She cried as she remembered that Simon is AS.

It
then dawn on her that Simon

stabbed the baby more with
the
syringe as she suffocate the
baby at the same time.

That moment the Doctor
came in.

"What! Madam! What are you
doing?" He asked
eyes wide open in disbelieve.

"You just killed your innocent baby." He said
after checking for the baby's
pulse.

"Please, you must not tell my
husband. I beg
you. My marriage will end. The
baby is not his. Please
Doctor don't tell him." He
cried to
the Doctor. "You're a
murderer. I can't conceal this. Not
from your husband. He has
been my friend for
over 15years now. I can't lie to
him!" The
Doctor yelled. Benita begged so much and finally
bribed the Doctor with
5million bucks to keep
shut. The Doctor accepted the
bribe.
The number was too huge to allow moral
scruples on honesty to win his
conscience. He
cleaned up the dead baby.

He framed up the death and
Benita cooperated with crocodile tears. .
Simon returned and met his
wife crying. He
almost lost his sanity hearing
that his
baby is dead. It took him sometime to forget
the lost.
. Few days later, Benita paid
the Doctor the
agreed amount of money.
And everything was swept under the rug.

is in two days
time.

the last time because you begged so much." Said
Benita as she
struggled to remove Andrew's
hands from her
pant.


"Please, this is the last time I
can be with you.
Leave me with this one last
memory. You know what I'm
going through knowing I'm
losing you to another man. Just for one last
time, make love to me before
you go." .

Andrew was on the verge of
losing tears too as she asked for Benita's
indulgence. He wouldn't let go
of her pant.


"I want the same thing also,
but it's not right.
I'm engaged to another man. I'm sorry I can't

leave now." Benita said
and ran free from Andrew's
grasp.


She adjusted her pant
and grabbed her skirt in a hurry to put

Andrew got desperate

cell anemia." The Doctor said.

shocked and struggled to
swallow. "You mean my son is SS?" She tried to confirm.

Doctor. The Doctor
took the baby away.

STORY: BEAUTIFUL BELINA (Episode 24)

As I stared at my salary, I could
not believe my eyes. When I did the interview, I was asked how much I would like as my monthly salary & I had said, 100, 000
Naira.

The place where I worked b4, I was being paid d sum of 70, 000 Naira but here I was
staring at d whooping sum of 150, 000 Naira. I closed my eyes & opened it again but d
figures hadn’t flown away.

I
closed my eyes and thanked God. I saw
Prisca smiling down at me. I jumped on her & hugged her so tight & I guess she felt uncomfortable.
“Thank u darling, God has been using u to make my life a
blessing”, I said truthfully.


“I am
sure I would not be anywhere if not for God, u & ur family
“Oh, come on now, firstly, I did not do anything,at least, I am
sure u would have done d same for me. Secondly, stop
referring to my parents as my family now they are ur family
members too so they are our family, ok?
“Yeah, Yeah, I have heard u…” I
stopped when I heard a car horn.


“That’s dad” she said & we both made our way outside to open d gate for him. He drove in & we happily hugged him
like little infant children &collected his suit case. Even though he was d owner of his company, he always kept late at
work saying that ‘if u want something done properly u must monitor it urself
Dad tuned on the TV to listen to the news, we headed to our room.


We had just taken a few steps when I heard a name & I froze.
I turned around like a robot & what I saw on d screen was more than I could fathom. I stared at my father’s picture being labeled
as a murderer. They displayed him on TV without even a singlet.
All he wore was a torn trouser as his face looked beaten & battered
I expected myself to feel sorry for him or even feel sad or even
angry at him but I did not feel anything. I just stared at d TV at first in shock seeing him there & then; I did not feel anything again.


I wanted to hate him the
more but I couldn’t, I wanted to pity his condition because he is
my father but I just could not. I finally felt Prisca’s hand on my
back as a sign of comfort but all I
could do was stare blankly at d TV. Mr & Mrs Jegas was busy
expressing his views about d matter & none of them noticed that they had anyone in the
house who knew d murderer much less his daughter. Mum
turned & seeing our
expression was striken. I immediately turned & headed towards the room but I was too
late, dad had already turned in my direction
“Belina”, his bass voice rang out in the house & I turned.


He looked from me to the tv & b4 I knew what was happening, they were all by my
side consoling me like I needed consolation. I laughed slightly& said, “I am ok, I am just fine.
I should be crying but I cant bring myself to doing that” I said
with a smile & dad said
something about it being bad to cry over someone who did no
other thing but bring me pain & I smiled. I thanked everyone & left to the safety of d room.


As I laid on d bed,the reality of d news dawned on me as I
imagined myself as a murderer’s daughter & my heart did a
summersault. I pulled myself together & was determined to get over it the way I had gotten
over every other challenge I had passed through in life, besides, I did not want to be a pain in d a-s in this peaceful family.
A week passed and everything had been going on well. During
the past week, I had seen almost everyone in the hospital & was
surprised that they were all young people within d age of
35 & below. Patients were coming for me on a daily basis & I particularly enjoyed my
sessions with Deji. He hadn’t fully recovered his memory but be
had remembered three names,though he did not know who those names belonged to, he
mentioned the names & when I asked his parents, I found out
that there were people in his life with such names. His
improvement was a great thing to me & I always looked
forward to our sessions together
because he is a very interesting
person to have around.


I had just finished my session
with Deji and was back to my
office when my secretary called
over the intercom. With my
observation, I should be within
the same age with Joke, my
secretary and I took her as a
friend.


“Miss Belina, there is someone
here to see you but he won’t give
his name”, she said
“Hmmm, is he with a gun?” I
asked half jokingly and half
serious.
Her voice held a smile when she
said, “God forbid bad thing”
“Alright, once you are sure there
is no cause for alarm, send him
in”, I said and hung up. Few
seconds later, I heard a knock
and I said a low but firm, “come
in”, the door opened and for one
second I thought I would be
seeing the guy from last week
but I couldn’t have been more
wrong.
I sprang up from my seat,

''I Kidnapped My Oga's Son Because He Refused To Settle Me"Suspect

A 20-year-old suspect, Blessing Emmanuel, said

on Monday in Lagos that he kidnapped his boss'

son for not settling him after apprenticeship.

Chinobi Sabestine and Emmanuel were arrested

by the police for allegedly abducting a 10-year-

old boy.



It was reported that the suspects were

apprehended in a bank in the Oyingbo area of

the state as they were about withdrawing the

ransom paid by the boy's family into an

account.



Emmanuel, who claimed to be a trader at the

Mandilas Market, Lagos Island, claimed that he

abducted the 10-year-old in the Alafia area of

Orile-Iganmu, on his way to school, as a way of

paying his master back for refusing to settle

him after working for him for four years.

"I started staying with my Oga in 2013.

He took me from my parents to stay with

him so that I could learn how to sell

clothes. In the agreement he had with

my parents before he took me, he

promised to set me up after four years.

"In 2016, he was supposed to help me

start my own business; but instead, he

opened another shop and asked me to

be paying him N20,000 monthly.

"I could not cope because of the

recession in the country, so I asked him

to pay me as agreed, but he refused.

Rather, he sent me back to the village.

"I came back early January and I stayed

in a hotel. It was there that the idea of

kidnapping his son came to me. Last

week Monday, around 7am, I laid in

ambush along the route where his son

normally passed to school in the Alafia

area of Orile.



"The boy emerged around 7.45am. He

came to me when I called him and I took

him away," the suspect said.

The suspect further explained that he kept the

young boy in his hotel room for four days, until

he was arrested on Apapa Road.

"Throughout the four days, the boy

stayed with me in my hotel room at

Oyingbo. I called my Oga on the

telephone the next day to pay N5m into

my account if he hoped to see his son

again. I sent him my account number.

"I was on my way to collect my ATM

card from the bank on Apapa Road when

I was arrested. I never knew that the

police were on my trail," he added.

The Commissioner of Police, Lagos State, while

briefing newsmen on the arrest, said the

suspect, along with one other, kidnapped the

10-year-old boy.

He said after kidnapping their victim, the

suspects demanded N5m as ransom to release

the boy.

STORY:BEAUTIFUL BELINA (Episode 23)

Badmus tried to look through his blood shut eyes but couldn’t. he
had just been given the greatest level of beating he had ever
received. He had looked up at d hooligans hovering over him
after he was thrown to the cell & knew that he was in deep trouble.

They muttered
something about welcoming him to d house & he thought it
would be a simple handshake but what he got was a boxing
session. They all tested their fists on him like he was d latest punching bag in town.


He tried to stand but could not muster enough strength to pull
up a leg so he just lay there on d floor. He swore in his heart to
get even & make Belina wish she had never been born for all
he had passed through d past few days.


“if I can get out of this place, be prepared
Belina”, he thought before he
dozed off, giving in to sleep as a consolation.

B4 I knew it, I was on my way home. I had attended to two
patients b4 leaving & I had been enjoying myself immensely
when I noticed that it was past five. I left d hospital feeling very
happy & when I got home, I found d house open. My new mom has a very large
supermarket & I was surprised that she was home already. I
entered & greeted her lovingly.
She was very interested in what happened on my first
day at work & I relayed
everything neglecting one very aspect, obviously. She also relayed her day at d supermarket to me
Prisca walked in and everything became livelier. I reverted back
to d bedroom with Prisca. Her dad wasn’t back from work yet.


“So, how was work today baby girl?” she started & I started
wondering just how far I was going to tell her.
I repeated everything I told mum also leaving out d most fascinating part of it all. Trust
prisca, she read in between d lines & noticed some loop
holes & fired back; I did not have any other choice but to open up to her.
“Well, I met someone that looked so… I don’t know. I originally
thought he was a statue, then while I was admiring him, he
moved & I almost swallowed
my tongue in shock & wonder.
He is so good looking”, I ended my sermon when I noticed that I
had gone too far
“uhn, I can practically see stars running around in ur eyes, tell
me, what is his name” she asked smiling stylishly.
“What stars? Well I don’t know his name & I am happy I don’t.
I don’t want a man in my life.
They have all been a huge disappointment.Look, I am happy u have a good & loving dad & also Tony but
men are good to u but sis, not me. They have made my life
miserable. Everyone of them”.


She shook her head,
“sweetheart, don’t be like this”
“Really? Do u know what it is like to have d type of father I have? Well no. what of Kelvin’s betrayal? I felt like dying that day
Pric,u don’t know what it is like to be face to face with ur boyfriend & have him throw
trash in ur face. That left me totally broken. What of Tunji? He
practically made my life a living hell & u want me to think about a guy? No. I don’t have
them in my dictionary. I would only treat patients as patients & live my life as a single lady besides, God did not make it
compulsory for us to get married”. I said & wiped d tears that were already flowing
from my eyes. This was d first time that I was letting out my
feelings since last week & Prisca held on to me as I cried & whispered words of encouragements
After I had composed myself, I remembered that I had not even
checked how much I would be paid as salary & I told prisca
who laughed wondering if she could forget such a thing. I brought out d envelope in my bag & opened it. I read d
letter & when I got to d place where my salary was stated, I opened my eyes & mouth in shock.

Richard went home with with Tony. He really needed d
company cos he had been trying to get belina out of his mind &
everything he tried did not seem to work. They got to the house
& they both collapsed on d chair. They had both eaten at the
hospital’s restaurant so hunger was out of the question. They
had both been pre-occupied towards the tail end of the day & they started wondering why people did not come throughout
until around four. They got to Tony’s
house around 8 and after about
10 mins rest, Tony put on the TV
and the first thing that was
displayed was news and from
the speaker, he was able to
grasp that they were talking
about the murder case.
“Oh my God, Richy, I forgot to tell
you; the guy that abducted Belina
was murdered on Saturday”
Richard did not like the fact that
Belina was the topic again when
he was trying to forget her but
what he said captured him.
“Yeah, I saw the murder case but
was that the guy who abducted
her?” he asked alarmed.

Lagos City Marathon:See The Roads That Will Be Closed To Vehicles For The Marathon

For several hours on February 11 when
the Access Bank Lagos City Marathon
flags off, some major roads in Lagos shall
be closed to regular traffic and the
General Manager of the event, Yusuf Alli,
has on Sunday released the details of the
route plan to alert the public on
movement.
Alli disclosed that for about twelve hours
some part of Lagos will be shut down for
the safety of thousands of runners,
hundreds of thousands of cheering fans
and millions of Lagosians.
In view of the arrangements for the race,
he urged residents of Ikeja and environ
going to Victoria Island to go through
Ikorodu Road while vehicles from
Badagry, Mile 2 and environ going to
Victoria Island are advised to go through
Apapa and Orile to link Eko Bridge.
Similarly, residents of Lagos Mainland,
Surulere and environ are to avoid Alhaji
Masha Road and National Stadium areas
to link Victoria Island through Iponri/
Iganmu routes.
Also, vehicles coming from Ibadan,
Mowe and environ can link Victoria
Island through Ojota and Ikorodu Road
while vehicles from Okota would have to
go through Mile 2 to Orile.
For traffic from Sango-Otta going to
Victoria Island, the public have been
advised to go through Mushin, Funso
Williams Avenue (Western Avenue) unto
Eko Bridge while those from Epe, Ajah,
Lekki and environ are to use the
alternative route to Victoria Island just
as Ikoyi residents going to the Mainland
are to use Alfred Rewane (Kingsway
Road) link and Osborne Road to the
Mainland.
According to the organisers of the
marathon, some roads will necessarily
be totally or partially closed.
“The Third Mainland Bridge will be
closed from 7.15 am to 2pm. Alaka Road
Service lane will be closed from 5.45 am
to 7.30 am. National Stadium to
Ojuelegba, Dormanlong Bridge, Onipanu,
Obanikoro, and Anthony will be closed
from 6.45am to 9 am. Antony Village to
to Oworosoki will be closed from 7.15
am to 9 am. Adekunle Junction that links
Third Mainland Bridge will be closed
from 7.30 am to 2pm.’’
Ali also informed that runners will start
collecting their kits from February 1,
2017 at the Molade Okoya Thomas Hall,
Teslim Balogun Stadium. The media
accreditation for the event is also said to
be in process.
“I am also happy to inform our media
partners that they can collect their
accreditation form at the Marathon
Office, Teslim Balogun Stadium. The
deadline for collection and submission is
February 6 and accreditation cards will
be distributed on February 9, 2017”.

Richard had finally left the stairs like a lost soul after his ‘lady in

hospital. He laughed at d imagination & moved on to d next thing that happened which was d surprised gaze; it had
been as if he had suddenly grown three heads & a tail. But
oh… she looked so adorable that way; in fact, she looked so devastatingly beautiful everyway.

He remembered d fact that she had been abducted just days ago
& couldn’t really blame the guy for wanting to take her away from everyone’s prying eyes even though he had the strange urge to beat that b-----d to stupor.

He remembered her appearance in the concert which was
permanently pasted in his memory but knew that what he
had seen today would not allow him any other thought apart
from hers. ‘she is painfully beautiful’, he thought & just
when he started fighting against
the thoughts, Tony walked in without knocking & found him
grinning all by himself which he quickly wiped out.

“Hey man, are u having
problems with ur teeth?” Tony
asked jokingly.

He smiled, “did I complain about
them to u?”
“You don’t have to. Now, what is
it that is so funny?”
“Do u always have to find out everything?” Richard asked
knowing that tony would not let d matter lie until he had
ploughed it out of him
“Yes, that is what friends are for”
Richard sighed;
“it is…” he paused slightly,
“Belina” he dropped.
Tony was wide-eyed when he heard that name & he later
started laughing his a-s out.

“What is so funny now? Cut it out”. Richard said already sorry he had said anything.

Tony started cutting out his laughter bit by bit, “I told you…
oh Richy, u would always be d Richy I know no matter what
you say & how much you deny it. Now, what do you think about
her”.
Richard hissed and said,
“You are a rogue”
“Uhn, I have always known that. I
am all ears” he said expectantly.
“For once in your life tony, you are
right only that she is not real. I
mean… she does not look real.
She is too beautiful to be true,
and guess what, she is the same
girl I saw at the concert the other
day”, Richard said totally into his
speech.
Tony left Richard’s opening
speech for later. “What girl?” he
asked confused.
“The one that sang when you
were chit chatting with your babe”.
Tony was amazed, “so, behind that splendid body, there is a
striking voice as well?”
“Yes o”
Tony tilted his eyes
mischievously, “so you were
suffering from love at first sight
when I saw you grinning right?”

Richard was taken aback, “I… ehm… well of course not. Why

nothing more. Remember, I can’t
love anyone”, he replied
uncomfortably.
Tony coughed aloud unnaturally for some seconds and said,

Before it reached Tony, he was at

Woman Poisons Husband 15 Days After Wedding Because She Did Not Like Him

The Pakistan police arrested a
woman on Saturday evening
on charges of poisoning her
husband to death a few days
ago. The accused woman,
Reema Bhutto, is suspected of poisoning her husband, Nisar
Bhutto, on January 22.

The
man died during treatment in
a hospital on January 25. Nisar, who was a florist by
profession and a resident of
Haji Latif Shah Muhalla, was
married to Reema under the
custom marriage about 15
days ago. On the night of January 22,
Reema allegedly gave
poisoned milk to her husband.


After her husband drank the
milk, he started complaining
about severe stomach ache and was taken to a hospital in
Shikarpur. He was later
shifted to a private hospital
because there were no
doctors there. On January 23, Nisar was
shifted to a Sukkur hospital
and then referred to a
hospital in Karachi, where he
died. Nisar's mother registered a
complaint at the Lakhidar
police station against her
daughter-in-law, Reema,
stating that she has poisoned
her son to death. Later, policemen raided the house
of Reema's parents and
arrested the suspect.

The police claimed that
Reema has confessed in her
statement to adding poison in
her husband's milk. According
to the accused, the marriage
was done under custom arrangement 15 days ago and
she poisoned him to death as
she did not like him. The suspect is being kept at
the women cell and will be
produced in the court Monday
(today) morning.

I noticed that we have been staring at ourselves for some minutes & I quickly said, “it is nice seeing u

run for my dear life cos this guy was definitely something from another planet. He stood there frozen to that spot 4 d second time that day & I
quickly muttered something &
scrambled up towards my office leaving him there.

I got to my office & 4 d first time, I breathed well. The recent
days of my life just seemed to be
loaded with unexpected things. I recalled d face which have become pasted on my memory
and wondered how God could have come up with such craft. I
had thought that Kelvin was d most handsome guy I had come
across, that is apart from Tony who is also very handsome. For
the first time since the concert, I
remembered Kelvin & his betrayal, I allowed myself to dwell on it.

I had accepted Kelvin into my life after close to one year of
friendship. He was a very charming guy & most of my female course mates thought we were more than friends & they said so aloud. They were very
jealous & they did all sorts to shift his attention towards
themselves but Kelvin did not even notice them. He asked me
out & after about a month of persuasion on his side, I finally gave him d chance to win my
love. I did not love him & I made that clear to him but he was sure that he could make me
love him. I did not have it in mind to love anyone man & that
feeling had been growing in me ever since my tender age. I had watched secretly as my dad beat up my mother. We were very
poor then but we did not have to bother about landlord fees
cos d house belonged to
us. My dad would go out, return drunk & beat up my mother
mercilessly. Whenever he tried to lay his hands on me, my mother
would protect me & receive d punishments on my behalf. I
despise d male folks since then thinking that they were all d
same but Kelvin came & after about one year, I was sure that he was not like my dad & after
necessary probation, I accepted him. I had put some rules in place though & d major of
them all were: he should not smoke, drink alcoholic drinks &
tell me lies but d one on top was that we were not to have s-x ever except we got married.

He said he does not do any of them & that he would respect me & keep us clean.

We dated for six months & so many times he almost lured me into his bed but I refused blatantly. We fought over it
sometimes but I always forgave
him cos I felt he was a guy who was finding it hard to control his urges but something
happened one week after my mother’s death that left me
completely broken. I called him immediately my mother died
seeking consolation but he only replied a cold “I am sorry about that”. I was very upset & angry
at his nonchalant attitude but I kept it to myself & consoled
myself. I locked myself up in my bedroom at home not coming
out at all & my dad did not give a d--n.
Prisca had been my
guardian angel then & had come over to my place to stay with me. Even though I was
happy she was there for me, I had already fallen in love with
Kelvin & I needed d comfort that only he could give but he
was nowhere to be found. He did not call & I refused to call him.
Exactly one week after my mother’s death, he called me & asked me to come over to his house. I was elated when I saw his call that I did not confront him about his behavior
but when I got there, I got d shock of my life.

I knocked d door like 4times & d door was later opened by a girl. She looked like a girl of 18yrs there about but
she was putting on a ‘see me through’ gown which just managed to cover her butt. The
gown filmed her naked body underneath & I saw Kelvin sitting comfortably on d three
seater couch; d only chair in his extra large one room apartment.
The girl left me at d door which I have not left since my entrance & went to join him on d
couch, holding him so tenderly & curving around him like a
mermaid. I saw my world shattering b4 me as I looked at them both & saw d shameful bulge in Kelvin’s
trousers in disgust.

“Come in & close d damned door,are u just gonna stand there like a statue?” he asked & I looked on not leaving that spot. I wanted to leave but I just could not move a muscle.
He laughed sarcastically & eyed me,
“see urself? u don’t
know what u have until u lose it. u are there staring at us & can’t do anything but stare
annoyingly.

An early-morning fire has

Richard stood so still that he felt glued to d spot. He had left his
office to check on some of his patients but saw someone that made him question if he was
daydreaming. He stood so still until she turned & he all he could do was gawp ridiculously with his mouth open. He never imagined that he would see d ‘lady in blue’ again but here he
was staring at someone who was a replica of her. He thought that not even twins could be that
similar & that made him
definite that she was actually d one he was staring at flesh &
blood. She was d same person only that d distance had undermined his view &
scrutiny of her. He had been able to take in her appearance that day at d concert even though it wasn’t easy but within close range, he felt that even in a
thousand years, he would not have finished feeding on her beauty. ‘I need to get out of here fast’, he thought, ‘but not after I find out what her name is’.
He noticed that he hadn’t moved a muscle & also noticed that she hadn’t as well so he was a little bit pacified so he moved towards her. He immediately saw d look of surprise &wondered what might have prompted it. He got to her & said breathlessly,

Mr. Badmus yelled, pleaded & did all sort of things just so that d officers would understand & leave him alone but they did not listen, instead, they beat him up. He was d object of ridicule as everyone on his street & beyond came out to watch d latest movie display only that it
was real & not an act. Some people were secretly recording d incident which would make a good post on net.
They got to d police station and dragged mr. badmus into d cell.
He struggled like a mad man but he was held with expert hands.He continued shouting ‘I am innocent’ but it was more like ‘I am guilty’ in d ears of d officers. They threw him into d cell & he fell down crying profusely & it took just a moment b4 he noticed d people looming over. He lifted up his head &d first person he saw was a scarred guy grinning down at him wickedly with his toothless mouth.

I stood bawping as d
unbelievable man approached. I still found it amazing that he had
actually moved. He had stood like a statue & I had praised d talented artist who brought d
craft to light but when he moved I was extremely surprised. He
approached me & silly me, I hadn’t expected that he would
talk, much less to me but when I saw his mouth moving I was
taken aback once more. He said something but my mind was
preoccupied thinking about nothing or everything & I felt
like disappearing until he
touched my hand & I was shocked, in fact, I could swear he was electrically charged cos it was like touching a life wire but it was enough to bring me back to normal.
“Are u ok? Do u need a glass of water?” he asked looking
worried.
I mentally slapped myself for my
behavior & willed myself against thinking about that voice.
‘I have no business with d male gender’, I thought & when I
remembered Kelvin & my dad,my voice became sharp
immediately.


“I am fine thank u”, I said &made to leave but he stopped me.
“Wait, what are u doing here?
I have been wanting to see u”,
he said urgently.
“What do u mean? Have we met?” I asked surprised at his
statement.
He smiled & said, “Yes & no. I saw u at Heaven’s Gate concert”
I flushed. There is something about that face that I could not
understand. It on its own portrayed a man of strength &
determination but there were a lot of things there that I could
not understand. He seemed unpredictable;
even with my psychological
mindset 8 training, I knew that it would not be very easy to read
him though I could sense he must have gone through alot in life

See The Number Of Lawyers Going To DSS Office With Apostle Johnson Suleiman Tomorrow

According to Punch,thirty lawyers will
accompany Johnson Suleman, general
overseer of Omega Fire Ministries
Worldwide, to the Abuja headquarters of
the Department of State Services (DSS).
He is expected to appear before the
secret police by 10 am on Monday.
Phrank Shaibu, communication adviser
to the pastor, confirmed the invitation,
saying he would honour it.

"Yes, I can confirm to you that he
(Suleman) was officially invited and as a
law-abiding citizen, he will honour the
DSS invitation on Monday," PUNCH
quoted Shaibu as saying.
"The invitation, though ludicrous and an
afterthought, is a welcome
development."

The newspaper added that a source
disclosed that Suleman had the intention
of going to the office of the DSS with 30
lawyers.

"Suleman will be appearing before the
DSS with about 30 lawyers because we
believe that his persecution has become
politicised," the source reportedly said.
The agency invited the fiery cleric after
its bid to arrest him failed.

Earlier in the week, DSS operatives
trailed him to the hotel where he lodged
after a crusade in Ekiti state, but
Suleman quickly reached out to Ayodele
Fayose, governor of Ekiti, who
intervened on his behalf.
Suleman had ordered his security aides
to kill any Fulani herdsman that attempts
to attack his church.
Responding to the attempt to arrest
Suleman, the Christian Association of
Nigeria (CAN) vowed to resist any plot to
turn the country into a refugee camp for
Christians.
"Treating ministers of God and our

he would get there on time & do some things that would take his mind away from d past few minutes. He couldn’t believe that
his mother had d effrontery to come back after close to 22
years. To do what? Claim ownership after he had grown without contributing anything to
his life? No, he thought, she must have underrated what she did.

He finally got to d hospital safe & sound & he marched to his office in anger. The people in d hospital stared at him
surprised; that was d first time they would see him that angry.
As he got close to his office, he met Tony & knowing his friend
very well, Tony knew something was wrong somewhere. He
followed him into his office without a word & gave him a minute to calm down b4 he
questioned him.

“What’s wrong Richard? Is dad ok?” he asked becoming worried
“That’s d problem. He is too ok”, Richard answered.
“What do u mean by that?”

Tony asked, confused
“if he hadn’t been too fine, he would not have
allowed my mum into d
house”

“What? What are u talking about?” Tony asked shocked
“Exactly what I am saying, I got there after calling u worrying
my freaking self that something might be wrong with dad but on
getting there, I saw my own flesh & blood mum staring me in d face”
Tony stared at him openmouthed
not able to say anything
“what did u do about it?” Tony finally asked

“Nothing,& I am not going to do anything about it”, he said & relaxed on his chair.

Switching on to more important things he asked,what of d
psychologist?”

“Yeah, she is here already & is attending to Deji right now. You
just need to see her, she got me tied to her little finger immediately I set my eyes on her.

Believe me, she is a sight to behold”, he said already enjoying
the change of topic
Richard looked unconcerned & said sternly, “that is none of my concern”.
Tony shook his head & said,t“unless u are not the Richard I know, u would have d same
opinion as me when u see her”, he said grinning
Richard kept quiet & made a mental note to avoid d second
floor as much as possible till d end of d day

I looked at my first patient as he sat in his wheel chair in d very
large hall-like place which was decorated to d brim. It looked
so heavenly p I adored d place myself. As I pushed him around I kept a light conversation going until he relaxed totally & I was glad. He
was extremely taken by d drawings and art works so I
decided to use this first time to familiarize myself with him &
make him enjoy himself. I noticed
that he should be a little older than I am but I decided to treat
him as a friend. We explored d art works together laughing
freely at every joke I made.
He looked so full of life & no one would have believed that he
didn’t know anything about himself. I noted his extreme
enjoyment & d little things he said unconsciously & planned
on working on it. I was very happy that just on d first day,we had achieved things that
would have taken a week to achieve. I looked at my wrist
watch & was alarmed when I saw that d 2hrs session was almost up. He noticed this & made a funny remark &we both laughed. I pushed his wheel chair as we headed out.

He said something about wanting to walk by himself but I told him that he would not do that until d doctor permits. We got back to is room & he was a
little bit relunctant to let me go, I had also enjoyed myself
extremely & was feeling a little
bit attached to him but smiled & told him that it would just be like d twinkle of an eye & d
next thing he would know is that we would be having another
session again d next day &that in no time, his memory would come flooding back. His
parents had thanked me profusely & I left d room for my office. I was about to climb d steps leading to d second floor when I stumbled on d most breath-taking sight I had ever placed my eyes on. I was
there like forever admiring d most beautiful craft I had ever seen when all of a sudden, it moved.

Tolu sat down comfortably in his
house looking very comfortable & no one would have been
able to think that he had a hand in d case that was being viewed in d television. He
watched as d TV brought to life
times without number d issue of Tunji’s murder & he hissed
audibly. ‘If it had been a
commoner, d case would not be shown more than once o, but
now that it has happened to
them, they are disturbing our eyes & ears with d story. e o
tii ri nkan kan”, he thought to himself. He was so confident that
he could not be a suspect at all cos he made sure that he
never visited Tunji in his house so no one could connect him with d case. He switched off
d TV & went out to get a good meal at d nearest eatery.
Now I have some cash, let me spend it, he thought as he
stepped out of d house.

STORY: BEAUTIFUL BELINA (Episode 18)

I brought out my diary & started writing
some things. My diary is always in my bag cos I use it very frequently. Most of my things
were still in my house so I didn’t bring anything much.
Around 10 o’clock, I headed towards Deji’s room & I was glad to start work mmediately.

I saw d patient on d
bed sleeping with his parents by his side. I greeted &introduced myself as his
psychologist & they had been extremely happy. Just then,d patient turned in his sleep &
opened his eyes. He looked exceedingly attractive in his sleep& I could not but pity his
present state internally but that was not what I ought to do as a
professional so I smiled lovingly at him. I gave him a few minutes
to get familiar with his
environment & just as I was about to open my mouth, his mother spoke.

“it is good u are awake dear,ur psychologist is here” he smiled at me like he had known me all his life.
“I went to him still smiling &said, “Hello Mr. Deji, I am Miss
Belina Badmus & ur new
psychologist, don’t worry, in a few days, we would have fixed
this little thing up there”, I said casually & he laughed slightly.

He had a positive manner; I noted delightedly & knew that
it would help me tremendously

The look on richard’s face was unreadable, maybe surprise,anger,uncertainty, or even all of them; his expressions were
always unreadable just as he was
unpredictable. He stared at d woman b4 him & knew without a doubt that she is his
biological mother. He was barely above 5 d last time he saw
her but he still remembered how
she made no move to bid him goodbye. She never really loved
him; she always hit him even though that sort of treatment was not allowed there. She loved
her daughters a lot & his father had told him of how she fought for their custody in d
court.

People say that u can’t remember what happened to u as a child but he remembered everything cos no matter how small u are, bad things have a way of printing its
footprints on ur mind that u find it hard to forget
She had aged but she still had d fascinating beauty that seemed
to draw everyone to her;something that pissed him
‘what are u doing here’ he askd

“Son, I…” she was saying.

“Cut it out ma,u are not my mum ok? That is my mum’s photo over there”, he said
pointing to a picture of his step mother on d wall. She looked
distraught at that & she started sobbing.
“pls, 4give me my son, I should not have treated u badly then, I am sorry”, she said as she
advanced towards him.

He stopped her b4 she got to him & said straight to her face,
“u have never been my mother & u can never, EVER, be my mother”. He stormed out of d
house & 4d 1st time ever,he did not stop even when his dad called him back.

Inspector Sule marched into d house of d deceased with a
renewed vigor. He had been like a mad man trying to find d
murderer who had d guts to come against d Deputy Governor’s son & hadn’t gotten
anywhere even though they had made useless arrests knowing
fully well that d people in d cell knows next to nothing about d case. He had appointed three
police men to stay permanently at Tunji’s apartment monitoring
d workers & ensuring that they did not go out at all.
When he got into d sitting room he gathered all d workers in d sittingroom &
asked them collectively,
“What do u people know about ur late
boss’ traveling plans?”
One of them who looked like d cook looked up & said,
“oga
olopa, e don tey since my oga don dey talk say him go travel go
oyinbo land with hin wife?”
“Wife? What wife?” d inspector asked, already liking d news.

“Aah, oga bin wan marry one girl, but e be like say d girl no dey
gree for am because na d papa just dey come hia everytime, I never take my eye see d girl
b4”. The cook completed.
Inspector Sule nodded
thoughtfully & said,
“so he was traveling out with his fiancee
that Saturday right? Maybe d girl killed him”.

The driver with more fluent English then said, “Yes sir, I wanted to drive him to d airport but he said I shouldn’t
worry, so he drove himself & just about 2hrs later, he came back very angry”.
“Yes, he angry well well o”, the
cook interjected, others just kept
quiet.

“He just dey shout on top of everybody head & he bin break plenty cup o. I even hear
am as him just dey shout for phone say make person bring
money come give am for night”.
“What? Who was he talking to?”
d inspector asked.
“I no no ooo” she replied.
One of d most silent of d other two staffs felt
uncomfortable & d eyes of d inspector tormented him until he opened his mouth &
said,
“sir, I am not an amebo but I also heard his phone conversation & didn’t hear any
name mentioned but after d call, he started saying some
things out loud & from what he said, I feel d person he was
talking to was Belina’s father”.
Elated, d inspector was visibly relieved & he asked d driver
if he had knows the address & he replied in affirmative saying
he had driven his boss there times without number. He took d address & walked out
smiling victoriously.
